In your environment, installed by yourself, it has not worked the way you wish it to. This sounds like a non main stream environment that you have chosen a path for a product that may not be suited and albeit little if any support can be offered or obtained.

The telephone system architecture you speak of is widely used, has plenty of support and assistance as noted by the several hundred happy customers placing thank you to support for the support they receive.

I am one of those happy customers and also a reseller that enjoys the system architecture and features and the continued support and effort that the Manufacturer - Epygi and its distributors supply.

This is a public forum for end users etc, and everyone has a right to air their greivances but I think that your references to the product which includes the support are not warranted.

    Regards,

    Kevin

As it is known - "one size does not fit all". Probably SIPX was better match for you.
Anyway, I am happy that SIPX runs so well on our hardware Did you change the whole FW image or you kept our kernel and changed the applications only?

I know our support team guys - typically they are bending over backwards to be helpful.. even too much, from my personal perspective
I guess you had problems due to some... to put it mildly.. financial issues with Kenian distributor (simply no payment from your side). Probably our support team was "not very responsive" to queries from that disrtibutor.

If I need to go on the corner of my street, I use my bicycle, If I need to go to Quebec city I use a car. I don't blame my vendor if I use my bicycle to go to Quebec City

Being fully agree with the comments above, just wanted to add something from my side. Phillip, there were several post in Epygi Forum from your side that were answered on time by Epygi team. Here are the list of them:

    http://www.epygi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=563
    http://www.epygi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546
    http://www.epygi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=544
    http://www.epygi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=541
    http://www.epygi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=516
    http://www.epygi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=494
    http://www.epygi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=490

We had no feedback on most of them, so we didn't know how you end-up with that problems to help you further. That means you probably was not so interested in using Epygi from the very beginning.

This was a Forum overview, now about Tech Support. You are an End-User, if I'm not mistaken, so theoreticaly you must have no access to Epygi Tech Support. I just wonder if Epygi have enabled an account for you to ask the questions directly, due to the problems with Kenyan Distributor, as mentioned David in his comment above.

Anyway, my congratulations on finding a solution (SIPX) that suits best to your business. It's always good to remember Sparxnet's "bicycle vs. car" telllig. Thank's Eric, that was really interesting and educational
