    Default ? Hunt group via channels

    I have a client who wants to setup an
    inbound hunt group, so they can receive
    multiple calls made to one number.

    For POTS / PSTN service, this requires
    multiple inbound trunks--each with its
    own number; the PSTN must set up a
    hunt group to sequence calls on the
    available trunks. The PSTN customer
    has no way to create hunt groups.

    But for SIP, isn't it true that one trunk
    (with one assigned number) can have
    multiple simultaneous channels, so that
    multiple inbound calls can be made to
    the same number? This is exactly what
    a LEC does for POTS lines, but only
    requires one SIP number and registration.

    And I assume Quadro has no problem
    handling multiple channels. This appears
    to be what the 'Multiple Logons' checkbox
    controls. Or is it? Thanks, Dave

    Yep, thats right, Dave. Quadro has no problem with multiple channels (multiple calls done using one registration). So this should work without any problem.
    But the 'Multiple Logons' checkbox doesn't relate to that. That checkbox is for outgoing calls only. You can see that this checkbox appears only on records which have ITSP as a destination (call type: IP-PSTN).
    For incoming calls Quadro will handle as many calls as ITSP will send to it.
