Trying to use an mp3 player connected to Audio in and not having any success. The song being played is an mp3 and sounded broken up and sped up. What is the best way to have a song played as MoH? Do I need to convert from mp3 to WAV?

could you try another MP3 player? The audio-in is analog input and the MoH cannot speed up in QX. If the problem still persists submit the ticket to Epygi's tech support.

I always would resample the MOH file to a .wav 8k 8 bit mono using the likes of WavePad Sound Editor (we use the paid version ) - look for it on NCH's website. The application comes in handy for all types of audio files, voicemail, auto attendant and also MOH https://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html

Yes Amekassa you need to resample the audio file from MP3 to a wav file - 8k 8bit mono wave file in u/a law
