Thread: identify extension in the returned call

Default identify extension in the returned call

    Hi all.

Are there any, who knows how to:

Identify the extension who returned the call.

    Example:

The operator transfer a call to the extension, there are a second call in the queue , that is transfer to other extension.
And a third call enter too to the operator. If the call is returned, the user who manage the operator, don't know which extension is who returned, in the display only appear "return" if the second call transferred has been returned too. They has 1 call talking and two call in the queue returned and they has to ask to the "again" where must be transferred.

Are there possibility to know the extension who call back the call?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Just for clarification, let say A calls B, B transfers call to C, C doesn't answer and call returns back to B.
Now whom you want to see in "Returned call", A or C? If A, this should work in incoming SW versions, if C it is not implemented yet, but we will suggest this for future SW versions.

    Thanks

    Thanks Ashot for your interest.

I will try to explain it.

    A call to B, B transfer to C, C is ringing.

While C is ringing another call is coming to B

    Z Call to B, B transfer to D, D is ringing.

if one extension (C or D) is not anwser, the call return to B, B needs to know which extension is not awnsering to try again or transfer to other collegues in the same department.

I don't know if now is clear.

Use Kickback feature - this should present the information back to sending party - from memory...

I was sure this thread was going to be like ..

One One was One Race horse, one two was one too, when one one won one race, one two won one too.. couldnt resist ....

    All,

In the current SW versions Kickback presents the information call from whom was transferred and returned back ( i.e regarding A and Z). It doesn't present information which extension is not answering. We can suggest this enhancement for the future SW versions.

    thanks
