    Hi Peer,

Please clarify in terms of Quadro2x what you mean by directory assistance. Do you mean auto attendant, or what?

    Thanks

    Default 411

    Hi Ashot,

I need to setup a way so client can dial 411 and be connected to e411 directory assistance. There is also a 311 number they would like to get to when dialing 311...
Do I just set-up new dialing rules? New at this.

    Many thanks,

    Peer

    Hi Peer,

Once more, what is the e411 directory assistance? is it an extension on the Quadro2x, or some other remote destination?

    Thanks

it is a remote destination and a common local number for directory assistance services. here is the entry detailing 411: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4-1-1.
Please let me know if I am not providing you with the right details.
There is also a 311 number - my client would like to just dial these three digits, which in turn dials a local number to connect him to local government services. I am trying to figure out what the best way is to create these rules in the Quadro.

    Cheers,

    Peer

You need to create two special dialing rules for 411 and 311.
    1. Go to the Telephony->Call Routing->Call Routing Table and Add a new routing rule:
    Destination Number Pattern- 411;
    Destination Type - FXO.
Leave other fields are they are.
Now dialing 411 from any phone will connect you to the local PSTN provider(Central Office. Assuming you local PSTN provider will connect you to this 411 service.

    2. The same should be done for 311.

    Please check and advice
