Thread: how to setup Call recording

Default how to setup Call recording

We want to use call recording, but are unsure as to how to set it up. We want the extension user to decide if the call should be recorded.

We are using Grandstream phones, is there a way to have the user do this? Can they access the GUI to start recording with a limited password?

    Need help.

No, they cannot access the GUI with extension username/password to start recording manually. In this case the best way is configuring one of programmable keys as "Recording" in IP line Advanced settings. But unfortunately in current SW versions it is possible for snom, Aastra and Yealink phones only.

    Thanks
