Quadro M8L Stopped sending Emails - Reboot?

Brand new to managing this phone system - (>month)

The Quadro M8L system has been up for 88 days - but suddenly stopped sending emails to all users from their voicemails - all user settings seem correct. ???

There are a couple of IDS events over the past two days - from outside IP addresses - need to check into them - but they seems to occur on a regular weekly/monthly basis.
Plenty of memory available to all users

Is there anything else to check??
Otherwise my option is to try a reboot?

So I rebooted the Quadro system overnight - and Voicemail -> Emails are now being sent to user indicated addresses.

I wish so many things weren't fixed by reboots...
