Default Problem with Music on Hold

    Hello,

I have an Epygi PBX 16Xi, and when I put a call on hold the music don't sound. I try to upload a file on universal extensions recordings but doesn't work.

The extensions hold music settings have this configuration:

    Listen Hold Music: Own_Music

What is the problem? I have another PBX with the same configuration and it works fine.

    Thank you.

there are two settings:"Send Hold Music to remote IP party" (sender side) and "Listen Hold Music" (receiver side). If "Send Hold Music to remote IP part" is enabled on your extension then when you put the call on hold - the hold music will be sent to remote party (otherwise, it will not be sent). On receiver side, if it is also Quadro extension, and the "Listen Hold Music"="Caller_Music" then receiver will listen the hold music from sender (your extension). If "Listen Hold Music"="Own_Music" then receiver will not listen the hold music sent from your extension. Instead, it will listen its own music. And, at last, if "Listen Hold Music"="Off" then the receiver will not hear any music at all.

Thanks hrant, I tried all the options and the problem continues. The problem has been escalated to the epygi development department.
