Stupid (probably) dial plan question.

Gents,

I know this is probably a real newbie question but bear with me please. I recently worked on a quadro 16xi which had the following entries in it's call routing table.

0* (NDIS:1) routed through Internet Solutions SIP account.
0?* (NDIS:1) routed through the same Internet Solutions SIP account.

Do BOTH of these entries need to be there?
Why use one rather then the other?

I don't see any significant difference between those two records. The record with 0* will rout the calls to dialed numbers starting with 0; the record with 0?* will rout the calls to dialed numbers having at least two digits with the first digit being 0. In case if the numbers you are dialing are more than one digit long - both records do the same work and you can remove any of them. However, take into account that if you have both records in the call routing table and if the dialed numbers are more than one digit long, the record with 0?* will be used on all calls because "?*" has higher priority than "*".
