    Default All calls being diverted to one extension at a certain time

    Hi,

    Do I need to edit my Day and Night switches in the call routing table to allow calls to come in to an extension at a certain time of the day?

    Management would like to look into 2 possible scenarios:

    -All calls to be transferred to 1 extension after 6PM
    -An extension becomes active in the MERg after 6PM (a more automated way, instead of adding extension to the MERg through Caller ID based settings at 5.59PM?)

    Any help with this one fellas?
    It makes sense to create a time switch via the call routing table to forward ALL calls to a specific extension.

    I don't think it would be achievable for the second scenario.

    Maybe by a custom scenatio on AA?

    The easiest way would be to create one more rule with enabler / disablers


    This isnt automated .

    Create a rule before the others with an enabler / disabler key - create a MERg or just send it to the handset
    Put that rule before the other 2
    Disable it in call routing

    Then use the following dialled from any of the handsets

    *77enabler#

    or

    *77disabler#

    When done

    would 2 rules with time differences work?

    first to allow in hours just to continue normal routing rules.

    second with all extensions subtracting two digits and appending the after hours extension number?

    ps works for my small (3 extension system)
