Fault and Lan Lights flash at same time

Here is the symptom - fault light comes on. The busy, fault and LAN lights flash at the same time, and then the Busy and Info light come on and the process repeats.

Does this require a factory reset, or is this indicative of a hardware failure?

Which system ? is it a 4x or larger ?

If so, does it have a memory stick / flash card in it ? if so remove it after you power the device down and then restart, does that fix it now ?

If so, run the usb stick / flash card up on a PC and see if it is readable ( you will need a Linux reader - from memory )

If it isnt readable - its a dodgy part and needs replacement.
