Recording - ???

Hi,

I have a 16x and an e1/t1 set up and running fine.

Is anyone here doing any call recording? Can it be supported through the hardware? Another device required ?
Or should I be looking at software on the softphone users end?

All help is greatly appreciated.

This is the response of the Epygi Europe.

"Voice recording will not be supported until the new PBX model comes out at the end of 2007."

But I think that It was not true, because I have had a technician from 'Arménie' this afternoon who say me to open a ticket.

I don't open this ticket, because my provider and my phone Snom (for this version) can't do 'voice recorder'.
But if you do that, give me your feedback

The response from Epygi Europe is very close to the truth. A ticket will not help here, as this feature is not implemented yet, so tech support cannot do anything here.


Recording has to be done now using some external means.

Most probably, call recording will not be available on current range of PBX. It will be implemented on the new, more powerfullHW platform targeted to bigger installations with more extensions and lines.

Is there any update to call recording - sending stream or files to external file server?
Asterisks provide call recording and table of list of recorded calls - can we have something similar?
