Time to time long beep signals during conversation

We are using Quadro 4xi with aastra IPphones (53i, 55i, 57i).
We've got time to time long beep (about 10 seconds) during call, but the clients on other side didn't hear this beep they didn't hear nothing. Also time to time after such signals call drops.

This sounds like you are watching another extension ( BLF ) and when that phone is ringing the phone that is monitoring receives a SPLASH TONE, turn it off and it will dissapear .. if my hunch is right !!!

AASTRA Phones have a feature called SPLASH TONE - this indicates that there is a call ringing at another telephone, a telephone that monitors a telephone with this feature turned on will receive a SPLASH TONE - through the handset that they are using.

I've found option "Play a Ring Splash" on WEB UI of my 57i and it is not enabled. Have any other ideas? Or maybe you can suggest how to make diagnostic, the problem is in that i can't reproduce the problem by myself so i only asked users to tell me right after problem to notify me so i can download logs right after problem appeared.

We have the same problem (from time to time long beeps during incoming ISDN call, but the clients on other side don't hear this beep). The problem does not appear on outgoint calls. Do you have a solution for this problem? Thank you.

Do you have a FAX closer to the ip phone which is hearing the beep?

It would be nice to have a trace from the WAN to see the sip dialog.

It sounds like you might be receiving another call on the Direct In Dial number for that particular telephone.

If you change the following do you receive the same problem on the handset - under extension management, extension number, basic services - general settings, turn call waiting off by unchecking the box.

sorry I just realize that you are using ISDN channel to make calls so the last answer i have entered it's wrong. It doesn't make sense to have the wan trace if you are using the ISDN channel.
