    Default FXS line busy

Hi, is there a way to reset an FXS line individually on a Quadro M32x ? My FXS lines are Off-Hook at all times and need a way to do a reset without rebooting the Quadro.

    Any guidance will be appreciated.

    Hi Suikam,

there is no way to reset the FXS lines on QuadroM32x from GUI.
If the FXS is really in off-hook then unplugging the cable from FXS port will bring the port back to on-hook. If FXS stays in off-hook even with the unplugged cable then the FXS has been blocked on the hardware level (FXS chip level). This condition may occur if, for example, you connected the other end of the FXS cable to a high voltage.
Quadro firmware is tracking the status of the FXS chip and tries to recover it behind the scenes and if it fails to do that then the only way to bring the FXS back is Quadro reboot. The situation described above is not a normal one and you have to check your cabling.

Hrant, the FXS is staying Off-Hook even while disconnecting the cable. Based on your input I will suggest the customer to test the cabling. Thank you for your respose.

then the chip is in blocked state. Any external disturbance inducing short time high voltage on the line may cause that.
