Thread: Snom 820 Forward All

    Default Snom 820 Forward All

    Hello

We are trying out a Snom 820 on a Quadro.

There is a soft button on the 820 which forwards all calls, allowing you to enter the forwarding number.
However when you call the 820 with forwarding enabled, you get 'ip connection cannot be established'.

I also read on another thread that it is suggested that you don't not use the call forwarding features of the phone.

If anyone is using the 820 could you please let me know whether this is expected behaviour , or if I've missed a few settings.

I can dial *4 and option 2 to set the call fwd number and that works.

    Thanks

Browse to the handset and set the key for forward to a speed dial as *4 ... that should resolve your problem.

That is if you can change the function key type and attributes like you can of the other SNOMs

    Thanks for the reply Kevin.

Unfortunately it seems that you can't change the function key type attribute on the 820. However, you can remove it - job done !

    Thanks
