    Default Soft phone can't register

    Hi all

I have express talk. I was quite happily chugging away with it when I disconnected the net cable in the middle of a phone call.

Now I can not use it anymore. I have exited and gone back in, but all I get is "Other side said not registered user"

In my epygi logs i have:
New Fri Oct 2 16:24:19 2009 3 SIP ip phone registration lost IP phone user michaelit : registration failed. Reason: unknown IP Lines Registration Status
New Fri Oct 2 16:24:19 2009 1 SIP ip phone registration succeeded IP phone user michaelit [10.153.97.86:5070] has registered. IP Lines Registration Status

I have tried modifying the IP Line in the hope that it will reset it, but still no go.
I imaging a reboot might fix it, but have not tried that yet as it is the middle of the day.

So basically this is just a bug report.

    Cheers
    Michael.

    Phone : = 192.168.154.6:5060
    Quadro: = 10.153.97.86:5070

    Is that right Michael ?

Is there some other reason why your softphone thats trying to register via 5060 but its getting changed to 5070 ??

Is the Quadro SIP set for 5060 or 5070 ?

    Quadro is 154.6.

The soft phone is set 5070 for "Local SIP port to listen on"

    I did not change setting.
I tried changing it to 5060, but Quadro still says the same "registration failed. Reason: unknown "

I would bet that a quadro reboot would fix it, so I beleive this is a bug report.

Ok fixed without reboot. I inactivated the line, and then set it up again.
I made no changes to the user associated with the line.

    Arrow softphone 400 bad request

    Hi

I'm posting this in this thread since it seems related.

I've been trying to set up SiptoSis http://www.mhspot.com/sts/siptosis.html behind my epygi Quadro2x.

SiptoSis is a Skype to Sip gateway. I have managed to get siptosis register as a remote extension from a different internet connection but when I set it up behind my quadro (For the best latency) I can't get it to register it just says 400 - bad request.

The way i'm doing this is to setup a new line as "other" with a username and password. xLite softphone registers fine after creating the new line from the same computer that siptosis runs on however when I run siptosis it says 400 - bad request. The epygi reports Reason: Unknown the same as earlier in this thread.

If i then close siptosis and open xlite again then xlite can't register it also says the error 400 - bad request. The only way to fix this is to set the line in the epygi to Inactive then active again so obviously siptosis is crashing this line somehow

Since siptosis is not supported by Epygi i don't expect support for this however siptosis's forums dont mention anyone having any problem with registering and siptosys registers fine with all my voip providers its just the epygi that it breaks -

I'm hoping therefore that you can maybe use siptosis to find this bug in the eypgi that is also affecting express talk etc
