Thread: Polycom 501 and 601 Adding more then 2 lines

Question Polycom 501 and 601 Adding more then 2 lines

We have Polycom 501 and 601 phones and we are having problem adding more than 2 lines to the phone. 501 supports 3 and 601 supports 6 lines yet when adding 3rd line we get " The phone is already configured with another IP-Line(s) and has no free lines available.". Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

You might want to edit the Extension in the Extensions management area, or under the line settings - ip lines... and set the Call limit from 2 to 3 or 6...
