PCMU codec anyone?

I'm trying to upload a custom auto-attendant message, and am told that I need to use the PCMU codec. I cannot find a copy of this codec anywhere. Can anyone help?

PCMU is the same as U-law. Windows Sound Recorder can already save files in the PCMU format.
