    Unhappy Allocating Lines

I am still getting my head around some of this so pls be patient. I realise that itsp lines are allocated to real or virtual extensions and a prefix is assigned to each and then stripped from the dialed number. My current configuration is 2xPolycom 430 + 1 Polycom 501 on lan side of 2x, the itsp account is multi line single account. Is it possible or advisable to be able to select any available line from the first line key on any extension phone ie if lines are allocated to virtual extensions, to make outgoing call press line key to select any available line (without using prefix number) and dial. At the moment I only need to know if this is possible, rather than how to achieve.

Yep, that's perfectly achievable. You need to adjust the CRT (Call Routing Table) the way it doesn't need a prefix, and in case if you have several account, it can switch to the second account if the first one is busy/not available.

Best regards and welcome to the forum ,

Thanks David, now that I know that it is possible it is into the crt and manuals etc. Prefer to learn how to use these settings and rules (nothing ventured nothing gained) but will post questions if I get lost totaly
