    Default Attendant/IVRs

    Is there a way to change an Attendant greeting remotely? Dialing *75 from the Attendant doesn't seem to work.

    Also, in 5.0.11 the release notes say "Ability to record voice messages from the phone that are referenced from auto attendant interactive voice response menu..." was added. Is this referring to the files used in a VXML file? If so how do I record these messages?

    *75 is available only for Quadro's extensions and it's not possible to login as admin from AA.
    You may want to setup a remote extension to be able to change AA greeting remotely.

    Yes, new VXML object was introduced in 5.0.11, which is intended to be used for recording of custom messages in Quadro.

    The signature of the object is as follows
    <object name="field1" classid="record">
    <prompt timeout="0"> <audio src="startrectone.wav" /> </prompt>
    <param name="extension" expr="'00'"/>
    <param name="filename" expr="'attwelcome.wav'"/>
    <filled>
    <prompt> <audio expr="_recfilename" /> </prompt>
    <goto nextitem="field2"/>
    </filled>
    </object>

    In brief, you just need to specify the extension and name of the file to record.

    hi guys,
    Auto Hold – we have a quadro 2x and snom 320 handsets. is there a way if a customer is calling and if no one answers after 20 seconds it puts them on hold (and still rings on our snoms)? or if not ring our snoms it automadically puts them on call park and the beeps every 30s seconds or something??

    What do you mean saying "puts them on hold"? Do you want incoming customer just to listen music, or something else?
