Sorry, this post ment to b in Quadro IP PBX.
Hello Robert
I moved the thread to the right place.
You need to have a G.729 codec installed on the PC to be able to listen the voicemails downloaded from WebGUI. And I guess, you cannot find such codec in any codec package.., at least I never have seen that.
So, in short, you have to listen those messages from the phone only, or as an attachment to the email, if you configure the system to send you a email with the voicemail attached.
But if you really want to use this downolad-VM-from-GUI approach, you have one more option - you will need to change the "Recording Codec:" to G.711u or G.711a on the "Telephony" -> "Voice Mail Common Settings". The mails recorded in PCMU/PCMA (G.711) are played by many applications. The only drawback of that is - your voicemails will eat 8 times more space on the Quadro, so you will probably need to use USB memory stick for voicemails.
Best regards,
David
Hi David
Thanks for the advice. It is now working with G.711 and a USB flash disk.

Robert
