Default possible problem with paging group and watched extensions

We are having problems getting a paging group to work on a 4xi-3bri We can add up to 4 extensions without any problems, but when we add a 5th extension paging does not work.

I think the problem may be that we have 3 Aastra 57i extensions and each has a 560M expansion module with programmable keys set up as BLF for the same extensions that we are trying to page. Maybe the system is unable to perform the BLF and paging at the same time for many extensions?

    e.g. Extension 400 (paging group) - 270, 271, 272, 273, 274
    Extension 270 (aastra 57i) - 30 watched extensions including 271, 272, 273, 274
    Extension 271 (aastra 57i) - 30 watched extensions including 270, 272, 273, 274
    Extension 272 (aastra 57i) - 30 watched extensions including 270, 271, 273, 274

Ultimately we want to have 30 extensions in the paging group AND have the same 30 extensions watched (BLF) from the 3 Aastra 57i handsets. Does this mean the 57is will light up like a Christmas tree when someone tries to page due to the BLF keys?

NB. We have paging working on a 2x with 7 extensions in the group and no problems, but this scenario does not have any extensions with multiple BLF.

Harry, it looks you are going to kill that device...
90 watched extensions plus 30 voice streams during paging will kill that for sure. I am pretty sure it cannot handle 30 paging streams. In next versions we are going to set the limit to max 8 streams per paging extension...

And in general I would not recommend configuring more than 100 watchings (BLF) on one PBX. Better to keep that under 80.

32x could handle such load, but not the 4x.. I would sincerely recommend to review this configuration. It is prone to multiple problems.
