Red face Changing IP Phones on Quadro2x System

Hi, I would like to know what's involved in changing IP phones on my Quadro2x based system. My network engineer that I had working for me is no longer with us so I've had to learn about our already-working Quadro2x IP Phone system.

My receptionist has a CISCO 7961 IP phone. I want to replace it with a SNOM 360. What are the steps involved to replace the CISCO without to much disruption (if any). What usernames and/or passwords would I need to obtain?

.... Is it just a matter of changing the details of the phone under the 'line settings', SIP phone type? The CISCO is currently setup on IP Line 4 and attached to extension 16...

    Appreciate your help with this...

Indeed this is just a matter of changing the the phone details. Extension remains the same, with all the setting you had. So the only things you may lose are the specific button assignment on the old phone. Though you can add that on Snom easily.

Anyway, just do that and write here if you have any problem, so we can help you.
One more thing: if your receptionist used to use Cisco buttons, she will complain anyway for some time after upgrading to Snom, as she has to get used to Snom buttons and Snom way of operation
