    Hello:

    I installed the QCM 3-2-10-setup in my computer and it is registered with a quadro4x as a local extension but when I call to that extension from an IP phone it sounds awfull, there is a BUUUUZZZ sound in the communication. I'm using the 711 ulaw as the prefered codec.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Sorry this isn't a useful comment - but, what is QCM?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    QCM - Quadro Communication Manager
    It is a 8 line soft phone with receptionist console.

    Hello,

    1) sound is awfull in IP phone, or in QCM, or in both?

    2)what is your PC SoundCard device name?

    @maribelronquillo

    Try this:
    On QCM go to Tools/Advanced Settings.../General/RTP Settings
    and change G.726 standard from ITU-T to IETF RFC

    Could you try to use some another SoundCard, or USB phone instead?
