When we receive an inbound call (via our ITSP) to an extension, if we pickup the call from a different phone using the pickup group (dialling 40#) then we hear a lot of echo at our end when talking. If we pickup the call on the handset that is actually ringing, we hear no echo.

In all cases the remote party hears no echo.

Has anyone seen this situation before?

The echo in this case can be produced by ITSP or the phones used in this scenario. Can you please specify the phone model and firmware version, if it is IP-Phone, on which you have and haven't echo ? We had a similar situation with other customer when echo was provoced by Snom phones with beta 7.x version. Firmware downgrade of the phone to our recommended version has solved the echo issue.

I'm using Linksys SPA-941 IP Phones all round. I've just tested again now and don't seem to be getting the echo now. Maybe the problem is related to the ITSP.

Yeah, probabaly it is ITSP issue. Quadro simply cannot produce an echo in the described scenario.
