On a 1 of our ISDN 16x boxes we get the following message 'Current configuration differs in encoding' under system events. We are at a loss to what it means? No problems have been reported with the quality of the lines. Occurring usually weekly.

"Current configuration differs in encoding" means that one peer has an "a-law" and another one "m-law" selected. Change that from ISDN Settings to opposite. Probably one line of 16x has incorrect configuration and the event arrises when using that particular line. If you'll unable to detect the line and the correct setting, please send the logs to TSS and we'll return to you shortly with right settings.
