View Full Version : IVR forwarding caller to 2nd Site Quadro.

OK gents,

Banging my head against a wall again. Hoping some bright spark can help me out with an idea or 2 and help me solve this issue.

I have 2 sites, each with a Quadro 2x installed. Site A has extensions 201 to 209, Site B has extensions 211 to 219.

There are routes set up between the 2 sites using the routing table and a DNS name and I can call between extensions on either site with no problems.

However the accounts department is located at site B and the day time attendant at both sites offers the caller the option of pressing "1" to speak with the accounts department.

From the local site (site B) the IVR connects the the accounts department as expected, but when a caller calls site A and presses "1", they hear a single beep and the call is disconnected. I have tried using dial and connect but both produce the same result.

As the call originates from outside, I have setup specific routes just for this instance and allowed source calls to originate from "ANY" and the results are still the same.

Below is my current simple Daytime IVR from Site A, can anyone see why this may be failing?

Any help much appreciated.

<option dtmf="1" value="212" />

<goto nextitem="field2"/>

<noinput count="1">
<goto nextitem="field3"/>

<goto nextitem="field3"/>

<object name="field2" classid="dial">
<param name="pattern" expr="field1"/>

<object name="field3" classid="connect">
<param name="extension" value="201"/>

Hi Lee,

This script seems to be OK. Anyway it isn't enough to figure out the issue and advice. You have to provide the configuration file for the site B and the system logs. It is better to refer to the Epygi TSS with this issue.
