Auto Fax on AA

Hi there.

I hope someone can help me with this.
In an AA scenario(custom), is there anyway for the epygi to
automatically detect if there is a fax coming in?
If it can, how do I set it up to detect and ring at a specific
extension?
Most legacy pabx's can do this, so i'll be very suprised if the epygi
can't handle something like this.

Btw, I'm using a 4Li with 2 ISDN lines connected. I still need to add the 4 SIP trunks. Faxes will only be coming in over the ISDN lines.

Easiest way to do this is to set the Fax Forwarding under the general Settings of the Custom A/A extenson..

Make sure that your greeting is more than 5 seconds or it will not work.

Heinrich, the only thing you need to do.. is set the Auto Fax detect under the general settings of the Auto Attendant and not the Customer Scenario...

All Auto Attendants have this feature as a standard thing to turn on in case a fax is delivered to it. The only proviso as I say is to have an audio that plays for over 5 seconds - longer is better - so that the auto fax sensing device can hear the fax tone to be able to redirect it to the destination.
