Having a prospect who will like to use VoIP to reduce his telephone cost without investing a large amount of money we would like to propose an ISDN gateway connected to his existing PAPX.
Is it possible connecting the PAPX ISDN lines to the Epygi Gateway ISDN ports with the purpose that all incoming/outgoing will be routed to/from the ITSP ?
All PAPX actual fonctionnalities must be preserved internally. For information the prospect is a hotel with specific utilities like customer phone billing.

Best regards.

Can you elaborate on what services are currently connected, how big the bandwidth is to the ITSP and any other topology that we might need to understand how best to answer your initial question.

Hi Kevin,
Most, if not all, services are local to the PABX, like customer billing application, customer phone billing. 48 analogue phones (wich is the reason to use a gateway - to expensive to replace all phones) distribuded in the rooms and office, no ethernet connection in the rooms but only in the loungeroom. Regarding the bandwidth needed to the ITSP we have to take into account the actual situation which are 4 ISDN Bri (total of 8 simultaneous calls - 4x2). ADSl connection is 8/1M.
Hope this answer your questions. Do not hesitate to reply if more information is needed.

Thank you for your help.
